Doccia Relief Cup & Saucer #4

This is a cup and saucer made by Doccia / Ginori in the 19th century. The cup is decorated with biblical or mythological scenes in relief all around that are handpainted very nicely. It has a twisted branch handle with leaves at the ends and the saucer is decorated with floral garlands connected by a nice shell design. Nice gold trim to the rims. The set is in perfect condition with a tiny bit of wear to the gilding. Both pieces are marked with the crown over N mark copied so often by other makers from this original. The saucer also has an incised 2 (I think that is what it is). The cup is 3 inches tall and about 2.75 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 5.625 inches in diameter.
