Doccia Raised Design Cup & Saucer #2

This is a great cup and saucer made by Doccia / Ginori in the late 18th or early 19th century. The cup is decorated with biblical or mythological scenes in relief all around that are handpainted very nicely. It has two twisted branch handles with leaves at the ends and the saucer is decorated with floral garlands connected by a nice shell design. Nice gold trim to the rims. The set is in perfect condition with some flaws from the making like tiny firing cracks and a bumpy underside of the saucer where the paste wasn't perfectly made. Both pieces are marked with an incised 7 as well as the crown over N mark copied so often by other makers from this original. The cup is just over 3 inches tall and about 2.875 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 5.625 inches in diameter. There is a rough ring on the very top inside of the cup so it might have had a lid at some point but displays perfect without it.
