Doccia Putto Figurine

This is a fun figurine made by Doccia in the 19th century. Not sure exactly when but probably toward the later part. The figure is not one I have come across before but certainly worthy of this great maker. It is of a putto sitting down with the right hand on the ground supporting himself and the left hand wiping away a tear. A sad facial expression! He is nude except for a pink band. A very detailed figurine that is hand painted to perfection! The figurine is in perfect condtion. Unmarked underneath but there is not much rom so I don't think it is an early 19th century piece though I might be wrong. The piece is 3.25 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
