Doccia Puce Scenic Tall Cup

This is a superb scenic cup made by Doccia / Ginori in the later 18th century. It is hand painted with detailed landscape scene in puce covering 2/3 of the outside and a simple gold line trim to the top edge, around the foot and a bit to the handle. Nicely shaped handle typical for this maker. A very typical design for this maker and very elegant plus not something one finds often at all. Will need to search for a saucer next! he scene is of very nice quality with lots of detail to it. The cup is in great condition with wear to the gilding mainly to the trim around the foot and a bit to the handle. It is not marked which is pretty normal. The piece is 2.75 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
