Doccia Puce Scenic Single Cup

This is a nice scenic cup made by Doccia / Ginori in the 18th century. It is hand painted with detailed scene in puce covering 2/3 of the outside with a nicely shaped handle typical for this maker in the empty space. Puce trim to the handle. The scene is of very nice quality including buildings in a landscape surrounding with lots of details. A very typical design for this maker and very elegant plus not something one finds often at all. The cup is in perfect condition. It is marked only with an impressed letter G which is pretty normal for this maker! The piece is 2.625 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter.
