Puce Scenic Pedestal Dish

This is a rare pedestal dish made by Doccia / Ginori in the 18th century. It has a nie shape to it with the bowl part sitting on a small foot with both the edge of the bowl and foot having a relief design of grapevines highlighted with gilding. The inside of the bowl is hand painted with detailed scenes in puce, on one side is a couple in a landscape surrounding and on the other a smaller landscape scene including a building with two small scenes in between. The scenes are really nice and one does not come across them from this maker and period often at all. What makes it even nicer is the fact that on the underside of the bowl part there are three large polychrome floral arrangment and three snaller ones hand painted. I have not seen this type of dish by them before and it is very nice! The footed dish is in great condition with some wear to the gilding and a small underside edge chip as shown. It is marked with their gold star mark to the underside as shown. The piece is 3 inches tall and 9.625 inches max in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
