Doccia Puce Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by Doccia in the 18th century.Both pieces are handpainted nicely with a puce landscape scene that is quite charming. Typical handle shape on the cup with a bit of puce highlights to it. Good detail to the scenes! The set is in perfect condition with some minor manufacturing flaws like black specs, etc. normal to the 18th century goodies! The cup is 1.875 inches tall and just under 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 5 inches. The cup is unmarked which is pretty normal for Doccia / Ginori porcelain pieces but the saucer has the rare impressed star mark underneath.
