Doccia Scenic Coffee Cup & Saucer

This is a great coffee cup / can and saucer made by Doccia in the 18th century. An nice example that is superbly handpainted with a polychrome scene on the cup and on the saucer with a dark puce or purple trim to the rims and the handle of the cup. The handle is unusual for them as they had fancier ones most of the time. The cup is in perfect condition with one tiny spot of paint missing and the saucer has some wear to the scene. Both pieces are marked with letters - an impressed L on the saucer and an impressed G (I think) on the cup underside. The cup is 2.375 inches tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 4.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
