Doccia Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is a great cup and saucer made by Doccia in the 18th century. An great example that is superbly handpainted with a polychrome scene on the cup and on the saucer with a gold trim to the rims and the handle of the cup. Typical handle shape on the cup that is very nice! The cup is in perfect condition with a tiny bit of gold wear and the saucer has a small chip to the edge as shown. Neither piece is marked which is quite normal for Doccia of this period. The cup is 2.75 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. The saucer is just under 1 inch tall and 4.875 inches in diameter.
