Oval Polychrome Floral Serving Plate

This is an oval serving plate made by Doccia / Ginori in about 1770. It is hand painted with three nice sized floral arrangements as well as three smaller single flowers. Nicely done in their typical style of the period and the plate has a relief design along the nicely shaped edge which makes it quite elegant. The plate is made with a tin glaze to cover the not so white porcelain paste of the time. This was used around 1770. The dish is in great condition with some minor manufacturing flaws mostly to the underside edge as shown - looks like something stuck to it during the firing but it does not affect the peice at all. It is unmarked but that is normal during this period. The piece is 1.25 inches tall, 9.625 inches wide and 7 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
