Doccia Oval Serving Dish

This is a nice oval serving plate made by Doccia / Ginori in about 1770. It is handpainted with detailed flowers in the typical Italian fashion in the center as well as four more floral arrangements along the rim. It also has a decorative relief design to the entire rim as shown. The plate is made with a tin glaze to cover the not so white porcelain paste of the time. This was used around 1770. The plate is in greatt condition with a little wear and a glazed over firing crack. It is unmarked which is normal! The plate is 2.25 inches tall, 12.25 inches wide and 9.5 inches deep.
