Basketweave Floral Plate

This is a great plate made by Doccia / Ginori in about 1770. It is hand painted with a stylized floral arrangement in the center as well as three smaller floral arrangements and three tiny flowers. The rim has a decorative basket weave relief design to it and a nicely shaped edge. Some of the relief design goes down into the well of the plate. The plate is made with a tin glaze to cover the not so white porcelain paste of the time. This was used around 1770. It is in superb condition - about as nice as one can hope for with a chip to the foot ring as well as lots of other glazed over chips to the foot ring from when it was made! It is unmarked which is very normal! The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 9.5 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
