Doccia Music Figurine #3

This is an superb figurine made by Doccia in the mid 19th century. It obviously represents music with the central lady playing a harp, one of the putti sitting on a drum while playing the guitar and another putto with a flute and a horn as well as a book of sheet music by his side. The base is superb with the top looking like a natural ground and the sides scrolls highlighted with gilding. The piece is very well modeled and painted! Sadly it has had some damage which is to be expected on a piece where thigns tick out and is this old. The end of the guitar is missing, the horn has a chip to the front edge which is not obvious from the front at all and the pinky finger of the upper hand of that putto is missing. The piece displays nicely and is great! The figure is marked underneath with the typical N under a crown in under glaze blue as shown. It is 7.5 inches tall, 4.625 inches wide and 4 inches deep.
