Doccia Lidded Coffee Pot

This is a rare coffee pot with its lid made by Doccia in about 1770. The piece is a new favorite of mine with a great look to it. Nice shape and the tin glaze with those flowers are just amazing! A large handpainted floral arrangement on either side with some small flowers here and there and on the lid. Nice puce trim to the spout, the handle and the finial. The pot is in superb condition with nothing wrong at all. The lid has a hairline crack going 3/4 of the way and some damage to the underside as shown but it displays perfectly together! It is not marked except for an incised script a looking mark but that is the norm for these pieces. The coffee pot and lid are 8 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter.
