Large Candlestick

This is an superb large candlestick made by Doccia in the mid to late 19th century. It is quite large and could be used as a lamp base if someone would want to convert it. The base is a porcelain piece with the top part being decorated in relief with floral swags in between medallions of female busts with an orange shell trim to the top. The center has a nice design to it and the base has floral arrangements in relief with a nice design in between. The piece sits on three feet that are nicely decorated. All hand painted in their typical colors. The candlestick cup part is made of brass or bronze with a little leaf design to the side. It looks great and is quite solid so no chance of it tipping over! An unusual piece I have not come across before. The underside of the base has their usual crown over N mark in under glaze blue as shown. The candle stick is 11.5 inches tall and the base has a diameter of 5.375 inches with the feet sticking out a bit from there. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
