Italian Fruits Plate

This is a rare plate made by Doccia / Ginori in about 1770. It is handpainted with a design that is known as Italian Fruits which is still being produced today. I had not seen an original version until this one so I was quite excited! There are lots of fruits and flowers painted on the entire plate as well as a nice gold and blue trim to the rim. The plate is in superb condition with a little wear as shown from use. It is unmarked which is pretty much the norm. The plate is 1 inch tall and 9.5 inches in diameter.
