Doccia Mug

This is a small mug or coffee can made by Doccia in the 18th century. An early example that is superbly handpainted with three floral arrangements that are very well done as well as a puce trim on the handle. The handle is unusual for them as they had fancier ones quite often and the mug is extremely thick and heavy. Reminds me of modern day shotglasses that are heavy and have less room in them as it seems. The cup is in perfect condition and marked which is not very common at all. It has the impressed star mark underneath. It is 2.25 inches tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
