Doccia Gilded Saucer

This is a fun saucer set made by Doccia / Richard Ginori in the second half of the 19th century. One rarely sees these fully gilded piece! The saucer has the usual design of floral garlands held up by scroll designs typical for this marker but what is unusual is that the areas that would normally be white are in this case completely gilded which looks quite elegant. The piece is in superb condition with just a touch of wear to the gilding which is to be expected. The dish is marked underneath with an under glaze blue N under a crown as shown. It is 0.875 inches tall and 4.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
