Ginori Service for One

This is a superb service for one or solitaire made by Richard Ginori / Doccia in the 19th. I think it is for hot chocolate but could be for coffee as well and I suspect it used to be a set for two. A complete set including the tray is rather hard to find if not near impossible so it was a must have :) All pieces have the typical raised relief decoration of mythical / biblical themes on them that are handpainted and they have nicely shaped handles highlighted with gilding. Nice to have the lid for the cup which has a figural finial! The lid of the chocolate pot and sugar pot have a fruit finial on them. The set is in superb condition with a glaze star line under the saucer and on the inside of the bottom of the cup but neither goes through the porcelain to the other side! The lid rim has some very minor shallow chips to the underside. All pieces are marked underneath with a blue N under a crown except for the tray and some pieces have an incised mark as well. They all have an old museum ID underneath. The cup is just under 3 inches tall and about 2.875 inches in diameter. The lid is 3.125 inches in diameter and about 1.75 inches tall. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5.75 inches in diameter. The creamer is 5.125 inches tall (plus the handle), 3.5 inches wide and 5.125 inches from handle tp spout. The sugar dish with its lid is 4 inches tall, 4.75 inches wide and 3.875 inches deep. The teapot is 6.75 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 6 inches from handle to spout and the tray is 1 inch tall, 15.5 inches wide and 12.375 inches deep.
