Ginori Gilded Relief Scene Coffee Pot

This is a fun little lidded pot made by Richard Ginori / Doccia in the later 19th century. I think it is for hot chocolate but could be a small coffee pot as well. The piece has their amazing raised relief decoration of mythical / biblical theme all around that are hand painted. This one is the much harder to find gilded version with the other areas of the pot being fully gilded. It has a nicely shaped handle and animal spout with a bit of gold trim as well. The lid has a fruit finial on it and two relief angels and is fully gilded as well. The pot and lid are in superb condition with a small firing flaw to the bottom edge from when it was made and it was gilded over so not really an issue. The piece displays perfectly! It is marked underneath with a blue N under a crown as shown. The pot is 6.75 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches from handle to spout. I have the matching creamer up on the site as well. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
