Doccia Fun Kids Figurine

This is an superb figurine made by Doccia in the first half of the 19th century. I love this piece because we can all relate to it. Two brothers fighting over who gets to feed the little critter in the box. The bog guy holding onto the bowl with the food while the little guy is pulling at his arm thus resulting in some of it spilling out onto the base. The little critter in the box covered in a blanket to keep him warm. Typical modeling and coloring for Doccia which is very nice when on display. There is a basket of turnips or such in the back of the kids. The figure is in great condition with a chip to the lid of the box and chips to three leaves of the veggies in the basket. The piece is marked underneath with the N under a crown mark as well as a blue letter f. The figurine is 5.75 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
