Doccia Floral Plate #2

This is a plate made by Doccia / Ginori in about 1770. It is handpainted with detailed flowers in the typical Italian fashion and has a decorative relief design to the entire rim and part of the center. The plate is made with a tin glaze to cover the not so white porcelain paste of the time. This was used around 1770. The plate is in perfect condition with very little wear. It is unmarked except for an incised number 10 but it was the the norm not to mark them. Also some kind of writing underneath but it was added later probably by a previous owner and I can't make out what it says. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 9.5 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
