Doccia Floral Garland Cup & Saucer

This is a small mug or coffee can with its saucer made by Doccia in the late 18th century. An unusual example that is superbly handpainted with purple flower garland design with a blue ring around the edge and the handle. The handle is unusual for them as they had fancier ones quite often and the mug is more thickly potted than their cups but it is definitely by them as I own a marked cup in this shape with a more typical design to it. The cup and saucer are in great condition with just a minor rim flake to the top edge of the cup as shown. Neither piece is marked which is very common. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 4.625 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
