Doccia Christ Figurine

This is a large figurine made by Doccia in the 18th century. It is of Christ and is superbly modelled. Handare bound and the face is full of pain. Left in the white to show off all the detail. Made of the famous masso bastardo which you can see well in the picture of the underside. The figurine is in superb condition with a restorations to the cloak on his left side and some firing flaws that are of no importance. Unmarked which is very normal for this maker. He is about 11 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 7 inches deep. Sold a long time ago hence the different pictures that I found on an old hard drive. Still a good reference I thought!
