Doccia Ecuelle

This is an ecuelle or soup bowl (I think) with lid and underplate made by Doccia / Ginori in about 1860. The pieces are decorated with biblical or historical figures in relief all around that are handpainted very nicely. The rim has a nice design that is painted in gold and orange. The set is in good condition with one handle restored and broken off again and reglued. One small chip to the underside of the saucer, one small spot restored on the finial of the lid, a few paint flakes that aren't bad and a small overpainted chip on the foot of the bowl. None of these are taking away from the piece. The bowl and underplate are marked with the underglaze blue N under a crown mark. Both a little different and handpainted not the Dresden printed kind. The bowl and lid are about 6 inches tall and 5.75 inches in diameter plus the handles. The saucer is 1.5 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
