Doccia Coffee Pot

This is a rare coffee pot made by Doccia in about 1770. The piece is superbly modeled with an animal spout and is handpainted with lots of nice flowers including two large arrangements. Also a nice colorful mostly puce trim. It is made of tinglazed porcelain. The pot is in superb condition with nothing wrong at all except that the lid is missing which is a bit of a bummer. It is not marked but that is the norm for these pieces. The coffee pot is 7.375 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 6.25 inches long including the spout and handle.
