Bird Scene Cup & Saucer #2

This is great cup and saucer made by Doccia around 1775. Both pieces are handpainted with a superb landscape scene with a large bird in it as well as a gold trim and the typical handle shape that is quite nice! The cup has a leaf garland around the handle which is a nice touch! The set is in great condition with a small shallow chip to the edge of the saucer that a little gilding would pretty much completely hide it. The cup and saucer are not marked except for an incised mark on the cup I cannot make out but the colors, handle shape and paste are typical and unquestionably Doccia. The cup is 2.75 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 5 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
