Doccia 18th century Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by Doccia in the 18th century. Probably the earliest piece in this design that I have owned. It is decorated with their typical design of floral garlands held by angels in relief all hand painted very nicely. Four scattered small flowers in the center and a nice gold trim to the rim. The colors are really nice in this example! The saucer is in perfect condition with a firing flaw on the very edge not visible from above. It is marked with the rare impressed star mark underneath. This is the original maker of this style that was so often copied later in Dresden, etc. The piece is 0.875 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
