Doccia Figurine

This is a figurine made by Doccia in about 1770. She is selling yarn or something like that. Made of the famous masso bastardo which you can see well in the last picture of the underside. Her face is highly colored which is also typical of their pieces. The figurine is in good display condition with some flaws - the back has a tree stump which probably used to have leaves and branches but was fixed up this way. The yarn stick in her left hand is restored as is the right hand and the top of whatever she is holding. A bit of scraping to parts here and there that are grey which is typical of these pieces. Plus she might have had a flower in her hair at one point. Like I said she displays nicely and is very rare. Unmarked which is not unusual and she is 4.75 inches tall, 1.625 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
