Wild Boar Figurine

This is a really fun figurine of a wild boar made by Derby in the 18th century. The little guy is very well modeled and hand painted perfectly. A really nice version of a very hard to find figurine. He is just getting up from a little rest it seems. One cute little piece! The figure displays very nicely but has a few issues as is the norm on this model. The tusks have been restored as has the right ear and the tail. It was done very well and looks great even from close up. He is unmarked but does have the patch mark from firing on the udnerside of the base. The figurine is 2.5 inches tall, 1.5 inches deep and 3.125 inches long.
