Stag Deer Figurine

This is a really fun figurine of a deer / stag made by Derby in the 18th century. The little guy is very well modeled with one leg stretched out while the other is tucked under. A bocage to the back to give it a little more substance. The figure is nicely modeled and perfectly hand painted to make it a very nice piece to look at! The figurine is in displays very nicely with damage to the bocage though not horrible, a small restored section to the lower part of the bocage behind the deer's head and the antler's and left ear have been restored though very well and the piece really does display nicely! The piece is unmarked which is very common for this maker during this time. It was definitely amde by them. The figurine is 4 inches tall, 3.625 inches wide and 2.375 inches deep.
