Lady w/ Cat on Ormolu Base

This is a figurine of a lady made by Derby in the 18th century around 1780. She is nicely modelled sitting in a chair with a cat in her lab and some sort of treat or toy in her left hand. A basket filled with flowers under the chair. Simple, flat square base which was spuced up by attaching it to an amazing ormolu bronze base with scrolls and flowers. It's a really nice base! The figure displays perfectly the cat has had a break to its neck fixed and she has a chip to her right ear, the lady has a crack in her right foot, a chip to her pinky finger on her left hand, the chair back is missing its top and some very minor damage to the flowers. The piece is unmarked underneath but is a known Derby model with the number 71. The figurine including the ormolu base is 6.625 inches tall, 4.625 inches wide and 5 inches deep. Quite heavy because of teh metal base. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
