Small Leaf Design Sauce Dish

This is a superb little cream or sauce boat type dish made by Derby in the 18th century. A really cute model one does not see often at all! It has a really nice shape to it with a relief leaf design to the outside with the end forming a curled up stem handle. Painted with green trim to the top edge, a pink end to the handle and a superb hand painted floral arrangement to each side plus a single flower and leaf to finish off this example. The sauceboat is in great condition with a little bit of wear to the decoration and the handle has been expertly and invisibly restored. Not sure what was wrong with it. The piece displays perfectly! It is unmarked which is normal. The dish is about 3.75 inches tall including the handle, 5 inches from handle to spout and 2.875 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
