Lady Figural Candlestick

This is a great figural candlestick made by Derby around 1770. It is of a fancy lady wearing some nice clothing and hat, with a colorful floral bocage on either side with the candle holder coming out of the top of the bocage on the left side. She stands on a superbly modeled base highlighted with their typical turquoise color and some gilding. The figure is with very little damage to some leaves and flowers of the bocage which is amazing but there is an expert restoration to the feathers of her hat and the candleholder part. She displays perfectly! The piece is 10.625 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. The figurine is unmarked underneath the base but that is the norm during this period and she has the typical patch marks as shown! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $749
