Cream / Sauce Boat Dish

This is a superb little cream or sauce boat type dish made by Derby in the 18th century. Not a model one sees often at all! It has a really nice shape to it with lots of detail and is hand painted in polychrome with a floral arrangement to the front and back as well as four small single flowers. Redish brown trim to the top edge. I really like this piece and it is small enough to look great on display and does not take up too much room either. The sauceboat is in great condition with a little bit of wear and some cracks that developed over time from pressures within the piece. A small stained one on the top edge and two more on the bottom inside which are hard to spot on the outside. The piece displays superbly! It is unmarked which is normal. The dish is about 3.375 inches tall including the handle, 4 inches from handle to spout and 2.375 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
