Bloor Period Cup & Saucer

This is a really nice cup and saucer made by Derby during the Bloor period around 1830. The cobalt blue with gold combination is always stunning and one of my favorite. Here each piece has a superb floral arrangement hand painted on white ground with the rest of the piece having that deep cobalt blue ground color and some nice gilding. Really a superb set! The set is in great condition with just a bit of wear to the gilding. Some stray blue paint spots to the bottom inside of the cup and some fine crazing to the white ground. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and 2. 5 inches in diameter. The saucer is just over 1 inch tall with a diameter of 5.875 inches. Both are marked underneath the base the red circular Bloor Derby mark with the crown in the center as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
