Amazing Scenic Dessert Dish #1

This is a really superb dessert dish made by Derby in the early 19th century - around 1810. A nicely shaped piece of a good size that has a really well done hand painted round scene in the center surrounded by a thin gold ring. The scene is of top quality and likely by a painter like John Brewer or Daniel Lucas or someone of that caliber. The scene includes a river with some buildings, mountains, clouds and lots of greenery. The rim has lots of fancy gilding to it that is also of top quality. It looks stunning! The piece displays perfectly and is in superb condition except for a small chip to the udnerside edge which shows a touch from the top but does not distract from the piece at all! Almost no wear at all which is amazing! The piece is 1.625 inches tall, 9.25 inches wide and 9.75 inches deep. A very elegant piece that is fun to look at! The dish is marked underneath the base the red letter D with two lines, etc. under a crown, a red number 36 and grey number 39 neither of them I can figure out who they belong to and the title of the scene in red on the front - In Italy.
