Del Vecchio Creamware Basket

This is a very rare reticulated basket made by Del Vecchio in the late 18th to early 19th century. It is made of creamware and is decorated with bands of black with white leaves in it with the reticulated pieces painted in brown. Nice braided handle on each side and the best part is a scene in the bottom center of an urn with two people on it which is labelled next to it O over 22:10 not sure what this means. The basket is in amazing condition if you think about how fragile creamware is. There are four hairline cracks to the top part, one very tiny chip and two spots of missing glaze that are on the very top rim. Some crazing mostly underneath but all in all as perfect an example as one could wish for. It looks to be marked underneath in the center with an impressed mark though it is impossible to see enough to figure out what it says. Certainly from Del Vecchio as there are plates in this style around (I have one) though I could not find another basket anywhere! The piece is 2.75 inches tall and 7.25 inches in diameter.
