Del Vecchio Plate #3

This is a rare plate made by DelVecchio around 1800. It is made of creamware and in the center there is a nice vase painted with an ancient greek type figural decoration on it. The rim has a black brown and white design on it. The plate is in great condition with a few bubbles that popped during the making and exposed the unglazed base underneath and an area of black tiny spots on the rim. All these are from the original making. A small area of stained crazing underneath and two tiny spots of paint flaking on the brown band on the rim and two spots where the glaze is missing underneath (also from the making). It is marked underneath with the impressed FDV over N mark. The plate is 1 inch tall and 9.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
