DelVecchio Creamware Charger

This is a rare charger made by DelVecchio around 1800. I am amazed that a piece this fragile and large has survived for 200 years! It is made of creamware and is handpainted with scattered flowers and a turquoise trim. The platter is in great condition but was used. Some of the paint of the flowers and trim has flaked off which one can sometimes see on the early pieces. And there is a little wear plus two shallow rim chips just on the edge where the glaze is gone. It still displays nicely. The charger is marked underneath with the impressed FDV over N mark. It is 1.625 inches tall and about 13.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $749
