Cozzi Damaged Pot de Creme

This is a pot de creme with its lid / hot chocolate cup / custard cup made by Cozzi around 1770. A very cute little cup that is hand painted with polychrome flowers - a larger arrangement to the one side with smaller flowers to the other and the lid. Typical handle shape and a little finial painted with an iron red design. The cup and lid are made of soft paste porcelain in Venice . The piece is in OK condition with a short hariline crack as shown and staining to the inside and outside. The top rim didn't quite hold up in the firing process and got uneven and alrger so the lid is very loose and actually a tiny bit smaller than the bottom piece itself though it sits on top and looks fine on display. Some chipping to the finial petals. The cup with its lid is 2.75 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. Both are marked underneath - the cup with a red number 12 and the lid with a red number 6.
