Cozzi Relief Design & Floral Pot de Creme

This is a really nice pot de creme / hot chocolate cup / custard cup with its lid made by Cozzi in Venice in the 18th century. A very cute little cup that reminds me more of the much more common Mennecy pieces than of this maker. The cup is hand painted with polychrome flowers - three large ones plus some tiny leaves on the main cup and some more to the lid. The handle has a simple shape with some puce trim to it and some gold trim to the top edge of the cup and edge of the lid. Nice fruit finial with a leaf to the lid. Both pieces are in great condition with the bottom terminal of the handle having a chip and the gold trim on the lid edge is missing in one area. Looks like it did not adhere correctly in that area. The cup with its lid is 3.25 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter. The cup is marked underneath with their red anchor mark as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
