Cozzi Gold Trim Floral Plate

This is a superb floral plate made by Cozzi around 1770. The factory made soft-paste porcelain in Venice and was founded by Geminiano Cozzi in 1764. It closed in 1812. The plate is hand painted with a large floral arangement in the center as well as lots of smaller single flowers and leaves scattered throughout the rest of the plate. The rim has a nice design to the paste and a gold trim to the edge. The piece is in perfect condition with a little wear to the gilding. The plate is 1 inch tall and 8.125 inches in diameter. It is unmarked but the shape is well known and the decoration is definitely by them as well. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
