Cozzi Floral Plate #2

This is a nice floral plate made by Cozzi around 1770. The factory made soft-paste porcelain in Venice and was founded by Geminiano Cozzi in 1764. It closed in 1812. The plate is handpainted with a floral arangement in the center held together with a purple bow as well as three fun bugs around the bouquet, a gold ring around the well, five smaller flower arrangements along the rim with a gold and cobalt blue trim along the edge. A superp plate that is just plain fun to look at! The piece is in decent condition with some use wear as well as two small painted in chips along the rim as shown. It displays nicely and is a quite rare example to find. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 9.375 inches in diameter. It is marked with their red anchor mark underneath as shown.
