Cozzi Fancy Trim & Floral Cup

This is a really nice coffee can shaped cup made by Cozzi around 1770. The factory made soft-paste porcelain in Venice and was founded by Geminiano Cozzi in 1764 and closed in 1812. The cup goes very well with one of my saucers but it's not the correct match so I am keeping them separately. The cup is hand painted superbly with a fancy colorful trim around the top and some nice flowers coming down the sides from there. Interesting handle shape with a touch of gold trim and a gold trim to the top edge. Three small single flowers along the bottom. It is a very nice example that one does not come across anymore. Typical colorful pattern for Italian porcelain which makes it so nice. The cup is in great condition with three tiny flat chips along the top edge that were gilded in to hide them almost perfectly. Some general light wear but it displays perfectly. The piece is 2.375 inch tall and 2.25 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the red anchor mark which isn't always teh case and it's nice to ahve it. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
