Couple Figurine

This is a figurine of a shepherd couple made by Royal Copenhagen around 1900. It is one of the Juliane Marie pieces and is very well modelled. The couple is very well painted and they are accompanied by their dog and two of their sheep. The piece reminds me a bit of some Hoechst pieces. The figurine is in good condition with a chip to whatever was in her right hand (probably a flower), the top of the staff and the dogs tail. None of them take away from the figure. It is marked underneath with the underglaze three wavy blue lines with a crown on top, GK. 1359. in red as well as 1SP impressed. The piece is 6.5 inches tall, 8.25 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
