Copeland Spode Amazing Huerten Plate

This is an absolutely amazing reticulated plate made by Copeland Spode in the mid to late 19th century. The shape of the plate is known as Madrid shape, fully pierced. It is superbly hand painted with a superb floral arrangement in the center including white Daffodils and an orange and purple flower I do not know the name of. I have seen it before but cannot recall. I must be getting old! The flowers are surrounded by an uneven grey ground color that makes the colors just pop. The edge of the well has a red and off white trim to it with raised gold trim then a black ring with more raised gilding with the same red and off white design to the other side of the black ring and the reticulated edge jutting out from there. It is the nicest plate I have seen by them which makes perfect sense since it was painted by the famous Charles Ferdinand Hürten and is signed by him as shown with C.F. Hürten . He worked at Copeland Spode from 1860 to the late 1880's so this plate was made during this time period. Huerten was a German artist that did some of the most amazing floral paintings on porcelain ever. The plate is in perfect condition. It is marked with the greenish blue Spode Copeland mark as shown underneath as well as some impressed marks. The piece is 0.875 inches tall and 9.125 inches in diameter at the widest point.
