Bertil Vallien Kosta Boda Glass Vase

This is a very nice modern looking glass vase designed by Bertil Vallien and manufactured by Kosta Boda of Sweden. A very beautiful piece from the Galaxy Blue series from the 1980s. The piece is hand blown with applied glass accents/ The main body is an uneven white color with a nice sheen to it while the neck has more of a blue color with darker specs in it. There is an applied darker blue thread design over the main body and a dark blue spot to the front and back. A gorgeous example! The vase is 10.75 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. The top has an outer diamer of about 1.75 inches with an inner opening of 0.75 inches. This example is not marked but one can find marked pieces as well or some just have a sticker which I assume has come of on my example over time. The piece is in perfect condition!
