Chinese Meissen Style Slop Bowl

This is an amazing Dutch decorated waste / slop bowl made in China in the early 18th around 1735 and decorated in the Netherlands / Holland around that time. The same type of scenes can be found on Delft dore wares like those of the Delft factory De 3 Vergulde Astonne / De Drie Posteleyne Astonne (The Three Porcelain Ash Barrels) and thus this piece was probably painted by Zacharis Dextra who was also the owner. I originally thought it was Chinese painted but learned that these were European painted recently and they used that over glaze words mark as well which nailed it down for me finally. Anyway - the bowl is hand painted with a superb puce scene on the inside surrounded by a gold and red trim with Chinosierie figures in red on top. Nice gold, red and black trim to the inside edge. The best part however are the two scenes in polychrome on the outside of the bowl. One harbor / merchant / Kauffahrtei scene of superb quality which comes as close to the real deal as anything I have ever seen out of China and another scene of a shepherd with his dog, two sheep and a bull in a landscape surrounding. Two nice floral arrangements in between the cartouches that are quite nice as well but this is where it shows that it is not a Meissen original :) Nice red and gold trim to the foot ring. The bowl is in superb condition with some minor gold wear mostly to the very top edge, a repair to the foot and a hairline to the top edge as shown. This hairline however seems to actually be under the glaze as you cannot feel it at all and the piece still rings true when tapped. Signed underneath with the over glaze greyish blue crossed swords which are definitely original to the piece. Quite interesting really! The piece is 2.875 inches tall and 5.875 inches in diameter.
