Chinese Lowestoft Style Cup

This is a cup made in China in the late 18th century. It is nicely hand painted with a floral arrangement to the front as well as two smaller flowers to the sides and a red trim to the inside edge. Very much trying to copy the English Lowestoft or Liverpool area style except the handle shape does not work. It has a groove to either side which I ahve never seen in English porcelain. Still a fun example and in great condition with some very minor firing flaws like black spots. The cup is 2 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter. It is unmarked which is the norm! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $79
